Welcome to the USS Stargazer NCC-2893-A.
"To bring light into the darkness"-unknown
A continuation of a legend nothing more or less is the stargazer, a project build out of love for star trek and out of love for writing. When I had the idea forming in my mind weeks ago about an exploration sim I had little solid data set. I went out looking to find a ship, something not used a lot of well known and a non cannon class like the legacy fitted this perfectly. A ship created by fans in the spirit of star trek and starfleet she was fitting to be used within the universe of star trek.
With the ship class chosen I went pondering for a wile about things, till I decided to get permission to start her up. At the time I had not yet chosen a name, so I talked to some people for advice. I wanted a name that had a history and at first I have been looking at old naval vessels and the like. But when I went looking at a list of star trek ship names I saw the stargazer among others and added her to my list. Than an other chat and it was decided that the name would be stargazer in honour of Picards first ship.
Now here you are on the site of a project of love and passion in something I hope you share with all of us. If you do indeed I would ask you to join us into this continuation of a legacy and do proud to her name. “To bring light into the darkness” As her dedication plague states.
