About Phoenix Fleet

The Phoenix Fleet was established in March of 2008 for the purpose of developing a friendly community in the online Simming world. After a few minor rough patches the fleet establishes itself as one of the founding fathers of Multi-Genre Simming. Currently the Phoenix Fleet has Simms in seven Genre's.

We are an online family and as such we do have some minor rules that we require all of our members to follow. All Phoenix Fleet Members are age thirteen or Older unless parental permission was given under the Child Online Privacy Act. Phoenix Fleet Simms run in a variety of age ranges from 13 - 60 and has Simm ratings going from 13+ to 18+ depending on content. Unless otherwise noted on the site all Simms are rated at 13+ that means a member has to be at least thirteen to join this Simm.

Phoenix Fleet tries to provide its members and users with all the tools they will need to run a Simm successfully. We include support from senior staff, technical support, recruitment forums and access to the sites banner exchange.

We hope to create a name for ourselfs in the Star Trek Online universe aswell, but with the fierce competition for the name "Phoenix Fleet" we are taking our time and letting the smaller fleets fizzle out and perish before we take our place in the Star Trek Online universe

Thank you for your interest in the Phoenix Fleet. We hope to see you join us soon.

Simm Clean Up
Stumble Upon DiggThis Simm Clean Up

After the "Great Simm Clean Up of 2010" was conducted by President William Hunt, it took a while to sort things out.  We are now down to 11 simms with 9 being active.  As President Hunt suggested, we are better for the clean up.  We still hit 365 posts in the middle of summer, not bad.

Just a reminder, July 28, 2010 is report day.  Everyone should be checking to make sure everything is functional and getting ready to submit their reports.

--  Key summer issues now plaguing the Phoenix Fleet.

Gold Award Winner

The Phoenix Colony has 12 characters and enjoyed 144 posts.

Silver Award Winner

Precinct 12 has 15 characters and 82 posts

Bronze Award Winner

The USS Infinity has 8 characters and enjoyed 34 posts.  The Infinity underwent a total
reboot and is deserving of the bronze metal.

The Rest

The USS Stargazer has 8 characters and 34 posts.  The simm also has 6 other saved posts.
The USS Wrath of Achilles has 9 characters and enjoyed an amazing 24 posts.
Project Helios has 13 characters and has 22 partial posts this month.
The USS Benfold has 14 characters and stuggled with 4 posts.  Captain Jones is aware that this is
her last chance.
Deep Space 84 has 8 characters and stuggled with 2 posts.  The simm has 11 other posts started.
The CSS Red Star has 8 characters but struggled to 2 posts.
The USS Severance has 6 characters and struggled with no posts.
Note One:  The Helios has had a lot of "summer" issues ending up with a lot of open posts.  The
Simm will be given the grace period.
Note Two:  Deep Space 84 has had similar "summer" issues and will be given credit for its started
posts and extended the grace period.
Note Three:  The CSS Red Star is plagued by the "summer" issues as well.  It will be given credit for
the grace period.
Note Four:  The Phoenix Colony posts are inflated by the inclusion of some of the last posts of the
USS / CGV Tanmesad, now a department of the Colony in a merger but is still enough to become the
Gold Award Winner.
Note Five:  Josh has had grad and holidays to deal with.  The Severance has struggled mightily and is now in the warning stage.

Congratulations to the Phoenix Colony for winning the Gold Posting Award for the Month of June.

Congratulations to everyone on achieving the magical 500 post mark.

With 113 characters, the PF remains the best small fleet on the internet.

Great Job.

Monday is Report Day
Stumble Upon DiggThis Monday is Report Day

Monday is the 28th of the month and requires that all COs submit their platform reports.  Please try to submit the reports here first.  If this fails, please submit the reports on the forum site.

As part of the great simm clean up of 2010, failure to report could prove very dangerous to the future of your platform.  The PF is better served to be smaller and stronger than to have a bunch of half empty, barely functional platforms.

Anodyne Productions has made Nova 1.0.5 available as the fifth maintenance release to Nova 1.0. Included in this release are fixes for errors being thrown throughout the system, a bug that wouldn't allow unlinked NPCs to use newly created bio fields, a security issue with the docking form and more.

A full changelog can be found on AnodyneDocs or from the System and Versions report once Nova has been updated. This update is highly recommended for all users.
